Why do your teachers need a flexible curriculum planner tool like iUgo?
Change means work, so iUgo connects with the way your teachers already prefer to plan. We find that teachers adopt a new digital teacher planner in numerous ways.
Teachers who use Google Drive or One Drive will often begin by creating plan templates in iUgo so that they follow the planning layout and structure of the wider team. In each of the planning or lesson slots, they can attach their online documents as an external file or weblink.
This can help support teachers who have already completed most of their plans as they move to storing their work in iUgo.
Teachers who are used to working on a particular template over many years can begin with one or two units in iUgo and continue with other units in their existing formats. This provides time for these teachers to transition all their unit plans into iUgo over a couple of terms.
The iUgo team are on-hand to support these teachers as they gradually implement their existing templates into iUgo.
Teachers who prefer a physical hard copy of their planning will be delighted to know that iUgo has been designed to mimic an A4 paper document with lessons that follow a similar layout to a printed planning diary.
All iUgo planning documents can be generated as a PDF file and printed out, providing a flexible space for team members who are new to working in an online environment.
