Word building game: Collective noun race

Packed in this e-unit is a fun and interactive game for teachers to run in their class. The unit provides game instructions for the teacher, a set of 'collective noun cards' and 'plural cards' to be photocopied and prepared for students, and idea's to make the game harder or easier to suit each groups ability! Students will play in teams, with the aim of the game being to match as many plural cards to the correct collective noun card as possible within a set time. As the game is designed for younger students, the teacher will support each group throughout the exercise.
