Poetry and art

Use art to inspire poetry!

This Teachable is an excellent example of an opportunity to use poetry as a cross-curricula topic. Study a painting by Picasso and use it to inspire poetry. A poem by Lewis Carroll is then showcased and portmanteau words from "The Jabberwocky" are translated. A thoughtful lesson your students will enjoy!
