Prefixes,suffixes and their spelling rules

This unit consists of a short text about a woman who loves hats, and worksheets on prefixes and suffixes. The first worksheet gives students an explanation of each of these vocabulary features as well as an exercise in which students need to add an affix to a base word in order to make the sentence make sense. Worksheets 2 and 3 focus on each of these features, while the final worksheet requires students to fix the spelling of the affixes that have been incorrectly added to given base words.
