Hyphens, dashes and parentheses

This unit consists of a short text about someone delivering junk mail to a house with a dog, and worksheets focussed on hyphens, dashes and parentheses. The first worksheet gives students an explanation of the role each of these punctuation marks plays, then an exercise on identifying them in an excerpt of text. The following worksheets take a punctuation mark each and require students to complete exercises showing their understanding of this punctuation's usage.
