Recognise commands and exclamations

A short story + language tasks

This unit consists of a short text about a girl who takes on a dragon, and worksheets focussed on recognising commands and exclamations. The first worksheet gives students an explanation of commands then two exercises using commands from the text. The second worksheet focuses on the difference between a command and a request; the third on when to use an exclamation mark at the end of a sentence. Students learn how to avoid exclamation mark overuse in Worksheet 4.
