Focus on questions

This unit consists of a short text about a girl and a dragon, and worksheets focussed on understanding questions. The first worksheet explains the differences between a question and a statement then askes students to identify which sentences are questions from a list of six sentences. The second worksheet focuses on the difference between a question that is part of a dialogue and one that is designed to check understanding. Students learn about rhetorical questions in the third worksheet and answer questions about the text in the fourth one.
