Recognise common nouns and proper nouns

This unit consists of a short text about a boy who decides to rename everything around him and worksheets focussed on recognising common and proper nouns. The first worksheet gives students a definition of a noun, a way to test whether a word is a noun, then an exercise on identifying nouns from excerpts in the text. The second worksheet focuses on identifying proper nouns; the third on common nouns. Worksheet 4 requires students complete a cloze exercise using the given nouns.
