In this unit, students practice the identification of ones and tens. In the first activity students identify how many tens and ones each rabbit has based on the two digit number they are holding. In the second activity students write down how much money the pirate has to hide based on pictures of labelled money bags. How many ten dollar notes and how many $1 coins does he have in each bag?
