The School Band: Ready to Read & Do series

The activities in this unit are based on The School Band, a text from Ready to Read, Blue, 2005. In Activity 1 students come up with a good name for the band in the text, then design a CD cover for the band's CD and a poster to promote the concert. The second activity requires students to connect pictures of instruments to their correct names. The final activity askes students to consider how each of the instruments in the text work, then have a go at designing their own musical instrument.
