 
                    Identifying ones and tens Part A
In this unit, students receive plenty of opportunities to practice the identification of ones and tens. In the first activity students complete the word equations to show how many $10 notes and $1 coins each person gets from a bank. In the next exercise they write down how many ten dollar notes make up a total and in the third task they write the number of $10 notes and $1 coins. The final task requires students to write how many whole tens are in a given number.
